During my visit to kasauli last week , i discovered that there is more to kasauli then only the beauty of the hills. Kasauli happens to be one of the most haunted town in India.
Unluckily we happened to check in a hotel which was just that. Haunted. It is called madhuban some call it mamai house why i dont know. But it was weird that no one around us told at that time. The first day was usual visit to the town seeing places everyone had a good night sleep except me and my friend. We heard shreiks which were definately not human nor of any animal. And it was more strange that no other folks from our gang heard it. Everyone dismissed it just as some casual animal cry.
But the second night was something that made all 8 of us scared to death. We heard crying and moaning coming down from a cellar. I got hold of gatekeeper and told him he was acting as if we were just freaking out.
As i went back to the room where we were having toast and wine we all heard heavy footsteps climbing the wooden stairs and this time the voice became louder and louder until a door bang opened the girls were all crazy crying and scared. I voulnteered to go and take a look but they were too afraid to let me see check it out.
We decided to check out from it very next morning. And checked in hotel in the main town. I asked a few locals but none even wanted to take the name madhuban. It was a old paan shop owner who opened up the mystory for me he lived near madhuban and i had met him twice to get my twigs.
He said we were lucky that no one got seriously hurt else that house was so condemned that none could even spend a single night.
He didnt discuss what happened there but he did say there is not one or two but dozens of ghosts moving around. He said telling its story is forbidden . If someone from himachal can tell me i would be very thankful. However i will search for whats the history of the place and will let you know on this blog. I have put it so that someone who does visit Kasauli and wants to experience paranormal then this place is guaranteed to scare the shit out of you. Not to mention i kept on reciting hanuman chalisa all night.
